Keep the faith is an expression that was used to encourage people during trying times. It was a way to say to them, I feel your pain and I am there for you. The term is thought more today than actually said to someone experiencing a troubling life experience. There are volumes and volumes of books written on the subject but not too many say keep the faith. They talk about connecting the inner you, or getting in touch with the universe and tap into your energy source. These are all saying the same thing.
They are all saying the same thing and they are meant with a genuine heart from most people. Believe them if they offer those words to you. They see something in you that you may have over looked. They see you as bigger than the life circumstance you may be facing. Just don't give up.
There is a saying in the Christian Bible that says, "This too will pass." Believe it, it will be gone in no time and you will be a better person because of it. Some of the books provide ways to help you recapture or retain your faith. There adre ways you may find help in coping with the situation until it is over or resolved. For example no matter how much over load you may feel. Find an easy project to do that will take your mind off the problem. If you feel yourself feeling sorry for yourself or negativity tries to set in, dispeal it. Give yourself pep talks. Encourage yourself. Listen to music that relaxes you. Watch children play in the park. See how they are totally involved with the moment at hand. They are anticipating the next event. Invest in yourself. Go to a movie and buy your favorite treat. Go to the breauty spa and get a massage or get a manicure/peticure. Spend a little money and time on yourself. Its about you for the moment.
After you've had a mini break from your reality. You've rejuvinated yourself and may have found a different perspective. You may see the light at the end of the tunnel. You may even say to the God in your life, Thank you for this life experience. I know it will work out in my favor, according to your Will.
